Inspiring change

We believe in inspiring change willingly, and for good.

Our work focuses on using behaviour change principles to help people and organisations to change for good, good for themselves or good for society, and good as in permanent - not a ‘one off’ action.

Our client screening policy is our commitment to our values.

Who we work with

We work on projects that inspire change and benefit an individual, a business or a society as a whole such as:

  • Working towards financial security of all Australian retirees

  • Improving diversity and inclusion within organisations and society as a whole
  • Improving mental health
  • Increasing adoption of renewable energy
  • Reducing food waste and improving fresh produce consumption
  • Prevention of violence and abuse towards women, the LGBTQI community, children and the elderly

  • Poor treatment of animal agriculture and animal products
  • Arms, ammunition, and conflict
  • Discrimination or extremism
  • Promotion of fossil fuels
  • Gambling

We won’t work with organisations who

  • Have staff who are abusive to our team or other suppliers
  • Have a proven record of lobbying against positive change
  • Have a proven record of environmental or human rights abuses

Under certain limited circumstances

All projects Shannon Behaviour Change engages in focus on helping people change for good. This can mean working with clients that participate in elements on our negative screening list only on the condition that we are assisting them to move away from these industries. For example, assisting a company to move away from fossil fuel dependency, to a 100% renewable energy solution.

Should there be any ambiguity, our leadership team will take the project under advisement and weigh up the benefits of the project to the individual, business and society as a whole before going ahead.

Screening criteria for evaluating potential clients:

  • client’s industry
  • motivation for approaching us
  • client’s ESG practices and potential negative impact
  • analysis of stakeholder issues and concerns
  • Client’s values and purpose
